So does the draft actually start at 7 p.m., or is that still pregame stuff? Anyone know what time Silver should be reading Zion's name?

Makes sense if you can’t differentiate 4-8 for Pels.

Make sense for Hawks if someone their at 4 they really want.

Simmons floated 8&10 on his pod. Market must have been soft for the 4.

Not so sure, they got 17 and a future Cavs pick of some sort, and they dumped a shitty contract 13M, getting them to 31M in cap space, so I'd assume they go hard to bring back Randle. That team could legit be quite decent next year if they can add shooting.

I knew the Hawks wanted a wing, but I figured they’d be happy with whoever of Hunter or Reddish was there at 8. Pelicans did well picking up assets while getting off that Hill contract.

Plus the Pels get to dump Solomon Hill’s contract. Not bad for the 4th pick in an alleged three player draft.

Btw, I’m not trading Jaylen Brown, the 14, and the MEM pick for a chance at Morant. If he remains a Celtic, we will get to see Jaylen put up big numbers as a second option.

Yeah, I guess I don’t really know how to evaluate the platter vs the #10.

You guys are so down on Hayward. Do you really thing he is cooked? I expect him to be a better scorer than Brown unless he gets hurt again.

Atlanta stood firm on its refusal to include No. 10 in any deal moving up to No. 4 or No. 5. This feels like a fair compromise -- both teams getting about what they wanted.

Minnesota has traded No. 11 and Dario Saric to Phoenix for the No. 6 pick in the draft, league source tells ESPN.

It's a fake first from Cleveland. Protected 1-10 in 2020; turns into two seconds thereafter (2021; 2022).

That seems like a terrible deal for Phoenix, which is par for the course this afternoon.

I don’t mind Saric. I don’t watch college hoops so have to rely on SoSH to tell me if there is a huge drop from 11-6

Jackie Mac on ESPN now, says the Celtics wanted to move up to 4 but couldn't. Now they're trying to bundle picks for this draft or to trade for future picks. They don't want to use all 3 picks tonight.

Gotta admit. Hearing Danny failing to make a move he desired is usually okay, but a little depressing given recent events. Despite it being a "3 person draft", I could get on board with an exciting player at #4 if they liked him that much.

At least, if he trades for future picks, we'll have more teams to root against next year :)

There’s a bunch of bad GMs out there and it’s gonna be a night with lots of them looking for action- I have faith in Danny to get some value.

I could see CLE trading out of 5 since they’re probably not taking Garland/White and may not be in love with the non-RJ/Hunter wings.

Haven't they been locked in on Jarrett Culver? He seems like a good fit next to Sexton.

Honestly I kind of like it, I don't see any real separation between 6 and 11 in this draft and I think Saric is a pretty decent player, who is only 24

Is this where we put our last minute wish lists for the Cs on draft night?

Assuming they have to keep all three, I’d be thrilled if we walked away with:
14. Nickeil Alexander-Walker
20. Chuma Okeke
22. Nic Claxston

I’d love to see this team add some passing and playmaking, even if just for role players. Outside of Hayward and, on some level, Smart, I feel like this is our biggest offensive weakness.
