I think they wanted them to jump because they were not sure what to do and wanted to save the time out because they were running out of time.
And that's where the Dallas running play should have gone on their fourth down that they got stuffed. Not up the middle.
I would be in favor of a Jerry cam in a box in the bottom corner for the entire game.
I think they were just milking clock and if the Cowboys jump, it makes 4th Down a little closer.

I think what happened there was it took McVay 25 seconds to go for it and then it was too late to get the play in and so he told them to try to draw an offside to save the time out. It’s only a half yard but it saves you the time out because they reset the clock.
If you think about it it’s really smart and quick thinking. If you are going to kick you just take the delay, but if you are going to go and need the time why not try to draw the penalty. The risk is a false start. But most coaches just call the TO not try on the fly to get the free one. That’s good situational awareness.

Depends on where you are. If greater Boston where temps are going to be in the low teens tonight, then yes.

The derision for McVay in this thread is insane. Why do people take the talent of other teams so personally?
That's pretty amazing considering the talent of the front 7 of Dallas (this game not withstanding)
