If woodruff can get it to the back end of their bullpen their top 4 of Peralta Suter Pomeranz and Hader have been lights out for a month and more .I thought it had a lot of bite.
The Nats will score some runs, but this is a problem.
I did too.Wow I thought for sure that one was getting out
Are there pitchers still going?Cabrera is the last position player standing from the 2007 ALCS.
ellsbury and pedroia... kind ofCabrera is the last position player standing from the 2007 ALCS.
Yes and CC.Are there pitchers still going?
Lester right?
I’m rooting for the MFY to lose horribly and for LA to continue its march towards being the Buffalo Bills of Baseball. Beyond that I don’t care what happens.I'm rooting for a Brewers v Athletics WS, so I'm loving the game so far. Now if Shaw can work a walk or somehow make a contribution, it'd be loverly.
That's an overstatement. Since he came back from injury he's been 2-2, 4.74 ERA. His HR/9 jump from 0.67 to 1.89. There's no way that he's pitching at 100% right now. He's been human since the ASB.
My only interest in the Post Season is that ABMFY wins.I'm rooting for a Brewers v Athletics WS, so I'm loving the game so far. Now if Shaw can work a walk or somehow make a contribution, it'd be loverly.
My scenario accomplishes that!My only interest in the Post Season is that ABMFY wins.
I think 7 of the 10 teams in the playoffs this year are among my 10 least favorite teams in the league. Hate the A’s, hate the Brewers, hate the Yankees and Rays, hate the Dodgers, hate St.Louis, really dislike Atlanta, couldn’t care less about the Twins, barely tolerate the Astros.I'm rooting for a Brewers v Athletics WS, so I'm loving the game so far. this is nothing new. if it doesn't hit the glove, it's a hit.How do you call that a double? Catch the f’ing ball you dope.
This might be the least surprising post ever on this site.I think 7 of the 10 teams in the playoffs this year are among my 10 least favorite teams in the league. If the Nats lose, I’m done ‘til spring training.
It's almost always an easier play for the infielder to make. Why can’t pitchers catch a popup?
Why isn't it exactly the same? It's almost always an easier play for the infielder to make.
Because it is usually going over the pitchers head, while the infielder can come in on it. Also, the infielders spend a lot more time practicing fielding them. Why isn't it exactly the same?
Well yeah, don't go diving over the mound to catch one, but there are popups literally right in front of the mound that are way easier for the pitcher. And they're always called off.Because it is usually going over the pitchers head, while the infielder can come in on it. Also, the infielders spend a lot more time practicing fielding them.
Not to mention that the pitcher has just made a "play" by making the pitch, so is in a compromised position on uneven ground.Because it is usually going over the pitchers head, while the infielder can come in on it. Also, the infielders spend a lot more time practicing fielding them.
