Ertz got away with a PI there. Grabbed the facemask. I guess WRs can use hands to the face?
I am massively biased as a lifelong Eagles fan. With that as context, let me say that when they showed the replay (concurrent with the ref announcing “no foul on the play”) I just shook my head in wonder.

I get that the initial contact was incidental. But if stiff-arming a defender almost to the ground (the second contact) when the ball is in the air isn’t OPI, then there is no OPI.

I’m experiencing cognitive dissonance over how ok I am with rooting for Indy.

Nice pass and catch from Brisset for a TD.

Very nice execution.

That was definitely a wonder. The reffing is incompetent and very inconsistent. What is a penalty one day isn't a penalty another. At least be consistent, especially after that call costing the Lions a win a few weeks ago.

Is it weird that I wish I had the JETS-MIA game?

Trubisky is an abomination and will go down as one of the most awful 1st round draft picks in the history of football. He is a fucking disgrace, especially when compared to the next two QBs drafted after he was.

Plus the Bears traded up to get him.

That Vikings OPI call is laughable.

The NFL really has an officiating problem. The replays this year have only made the problem worse

lol what a fuckup by the Colts at the end of the half. I mean really really stupid.

Pitt had the ball at their own 45, threw a quick 5 yard out, clock is out. Then Darius Leonard comes and trucks him in the head as 3 other people are tackling him. 15 yard penalty, followed by untimed down and 51 yard fg.

It’s kind of incredible that the Dolphins have no desire to field a competitive team this season, yet there are a handful of teams that are bigger dumpster fires on the field...
Kind of bittersweet as a Fins fan lol
Maybe they initiate tank mode in the 2nd half.

Unconscionable play there by Indy. It was two late hits.

That OPI call on Minnesota is the worst call of the season. The only possible justification for throwing the flag there is if the ref missed the play entirely, and just assumed that KC wouldn't blow the coverage that badly.

Still, honestly surprised that they overruled it.

I just saw the replay of the injury. I can't believe the Colts OL got himself so top heavy that the push from the DL flipped him over, and onto Jacoby's leg.
