Color rush is going away in 2020 right? The rumors about the Patriots jerseys is they will look a lot like the color rush jerseys. Blue tops and bottoms, different stripes on the shoulders.
Outside of the multi-color one, I don't mind the Falcons ones.I don't disagree, but some of the recent NFL changes have been absolutely horrible. Falcons. Rams. Browns a couple years ago. The Jets last year was a complete abomination. There are truly some awful uniforms being produced.
I'm not a uni snob. I kind of liked what Oregon was doing when they started doing it. I thought the Seahawks neon green jerseys were kind of cool. But the recent NFL unis have been really, really bad.
The Bears, Chargers and Bucs should all draft kickers in the first roundAll I want are some technical problems on draft day and one team to start auto-picking kickers.
Did they sell out of Saints items???Kohl's is clearing out their NFL merchandise with some deep discounts, including some Patriots items.
Interesting, They do have Saints gear, but looks like due to some technical glitch that stuff only got marked down 20%.Did they sell out of Saints items???

I saw this on Twitter, the 2017 draft has produced 8 running backs who have run for over 1,000 yards in a season (Leonard Fournette, CMC, Dalvin Cook, Joe Mixon, Kareem Hunt, Marlon Mack, Aaron Jones and Chris Carson) as well as Alvin Kamara, Tarik Cohen, Jamaal Williams and James Conner. After only three seasons, that has to be one of the best RB drafts ever.Carolina’s Christian McCaffrey is signing a four-year extension, averaging $16 million per year, making him the highest-paid running back in NFL history, sources tell ESPN.

Draft called off?
Last time he teased something it was Aldon Smith signing so I’m not getting my hopes up on some big scoop.Draft called off?
Season called off?
Belichick retiring?
Patriots signing Kaepernick?
NFL voiding all Pats titles?
Why does it have to be tomorrow night?
Maybe Ashley can lend it some juice...I was thinking the C in that new logo is almost....deflating.
New season of Ballers dropping early?
That “all 50 states” thing sounds potentially problematic. What happens if Hawaii remains in lockdown? What happens if some extreme governor wants to stick it to Trump by keeping SIP beyond all others?
Probably Fox Sports hiring someone.Draft called off?

Only thing big that I can think of is that Gronk is coming out of retirement. With Glazer and him working for Fox, Gronk may be giving him the scoop.Seems odd that he’d tease a major scoop ~ 2 days before he’s going to announce it. Must not be too concerned about getting beaten.
My quarantine/paranoid brain ended up at BB suspended for life, but for that not to leak would be amazing.Draft called off?

If Gronk comes back, it's likely he wants to play with Brady. If it is legit "straight" NFL news (not something about wrestling, working out, entertainment, etc) wouldn't you think Schefter would have something on it too by now?
On Gronk, Pats can't even afford him now can they? Always ways to create cap space, but I think he is done.
Yeah, that would be the play and there would be a trade but highly unlikely. Chances are Glazer has some minor news that he’s over promoting. If Gronk comes back, it's likely he wants to play with Brady.
But he’s still under contact with PatsIf Gronk comes back, it's likely he wants to play with Brady.

wouldn't they be able to trade his "rights?" I'm not sure if he's filed his retirement papers (or if that would even matter) and i believe he's on the Patriots reserved / retired list so as to not count against the cap.Pretend for a second that it's Gronk. How would that even work mechanically? Pats have his rights. He is under contract. That contract would put them over the salary cap. So would they have to cut / restructure some guys in order for Gronk to un-retire, and then trade him?
That would certainly qualify
No clue if they could trade his rights with him being on the reserved / retired list. It's kind of why I asked!wouldn't they be able to trade his "rights?" Won't impact the capNo clue if they could trade his rights with him being on the reserved / retired list. It's kind of why I asked!
Thanks.Won't impact the cap

Great question. Checked the 2006 version of the NFL Bylaws. Teams can trade a retired player's rights so Gronk's $9.25M cap number would never have to hit the Patriots cap. Gronk's active roster bonuses would be considered NLTBE for 2020 since he did not play in 2019.
