Is it possible the Browns offense is actually better without OBJ?
It undoubtedly is. Odell hasn't been great in 4 years, now.

He's not the same player, due to age and injuries, but he brings all that baggage and that baggage weighs down a team.

Also, when he plays I think the team feels the need to make sure he gets the ball. Without him the offense seems more balanced.

Who hangs 35 on a Wink Martindale defense?
That defense has stopped being good a while ago.

And what happened to #95? Basically watched Mayfield go by him and slide. I know it wasn’t that simple but you gtta tackle him there.
