My take as well. If it ain't going to be the Celtics, I have no problem with Giannis, Jrue and Middleton making their run this yearGood (if it keeps up). I want them hitting on all cylinders when they run into the MF Nets.
Yup. Give me the Bucks over Nets/Philly all day.Good (if it keeps up). I want them hitting on all cylinders when they run into the MF Nets.
86 by the Cavs in 2017 finals. What's the playoff record for points in a half? 64 with 5:30 left!!!
I think they're a great match against the Nets. Giannis will go Wilt-esque on them -- who on earth on the Nets has a chance to stop him? Made some great moves to surround Giannis w/ shooters.Good (if it keeps up). I want them hitting on all cylinders when they run into the MF Nets.
They are gonna love his cereal and chipotle bowls.Tyler Herro is gonna crush it for the 2024-25 Fujian Sturgeons
It was definitely a flagrant. I thought the dickish push-off at the end was like crazy, disrespectful to a 2-time MVP who is kicking your ass.Shocking, another dirty play from the Heat. Reminiscent of Butler doing his best to take out Jaylen's legs last year on a breakaway layup.
I remember listening to the Lowe Post early this season where Zach Lowe (who, IMO, is the best analyst around by a wide margin) said that Tyler Herro was more valuable than Jaylen Brown....They are gonna love his cereal and chipotle bowls.
? They’ve both been healthy (or at least have both played) in 52 of the Blazers’ last 53 playoff games. Is this the first time ever that both Lillard and McCollum have both been healthy in the playoffs?
One of them always seem to be recovering from injury?? They’ve both been healthy (or at least have both played) in 52 of the Blazers’ last 53 playoff games.
That could be; I haven’t followed them closely enough to get that fine-grained. But then I’d guess most full-time players are chipped up in one way or another by this time of year. One of them always seem to be recovering from injury?
To be fair, Gov. Baker made the announcement last Monday (May 17) that all remaining Covid restrictions and capacity limits in the state be lifted on Sat, May 29......before anyone knew we’d be hosting a playoff game on the 28th.Am I reading correctly that Boston will allow the Garden to be almost full Sunday but only 25% full Friday?
I'd like to see the data showing that they need to wait until after game 3 to open up...
Yeah, and that feels like something he could maybe revisit? To be fair, Gov. Baker made the announcement last Monday (May 17) that all remaining Covid restrictions and capacity limits in the state be lifted on Sat, May 29......before anyone knew we’d be hosting a playoff game on the 28th.
It’s nice that more people will be able to attend the 2021 season’s funeral.Am I reading correctly that Boston will allow the Garden to be almost full Sunday but only 25% full Friday?

That's not relevant to the Celtics situation. There's a zero percent chance they can be ready for a big crowd Sunday and not Friday. For most businesses, the jump up to full capacity/minimal restrictions to May 29 was a big surprise and a lot has to be done in the two-week period between when it was announced to when it goes into effect for everybody involved to figure out the logistics and how to handle larger crowds. Some places having staffing issues, as well as safety concerns, so its hard to just go from 2,000 fans or whatever to 15,000.
I dunno. When you begin making exceptions for one business what happens when the tens of thousands of others ask for an exception? I have no problem with it personally.Yeah, and that feels like something he could maybe revisit?
The obvious solution seems to be moving the whole reopening up by 12 hours.I dunno. When you begin making exceptions for one business what happens when the tens of thousands of others ask for an exception? I have no problem with it personally.
That team really has to win a championship too because they have traded away their future picks to win now, they are really fucked if this core doesn't work out.Clipps have 0 defense. Mavs can get any shot they want. They tanked to get swept. Also there's no possible way in hell anyone on the bench can be worse than Morris.
Break out the brooms in Dallas.
Doesnt work out? Are you blind? It didnt work out. It's over. Break out the broomsThat team really has to win a championship too because they have traded away their future picks to win now, they are really fucked if this core doesn't work out.
And Kawhi has the option to walk after this year if things really blow up. If he does they're left with Paul George and a bunch of mediocre at best vets with no draft picks and minimal cap space, that could get ugly. That team really has to win a championship too because they have traded away their future picks to win now, they are really fucked if this core doesn't work out.
Anyone who has actually watched kl and pg play is not paying them that kind of money. Kawhi is not elite by any stretchAnd Kawhi has the option to walk after this year if things really blow up. Kawhi is 1000% still a max player and teams will be falling all over themselves to offer him a max deal if he doesn't immediately resign with LA this offseason. He was one of the best players in the league this year when he played, his only negative was only playing 52 games.Anyone who has actually watched kl and pg play is not paying them that kind of money. The clipps bet on the wrong horses. They're stuck with this suck.
His defense is average to below. Add that to the fact that after playing 52 games and being heavily babied, it's a 2nd straight playoffs of shit. His numbers look great but he doesnt have "it" anymore. He comes out strong and just fades. He's not a max player.Kawhi is 1000% still a max player and teams will be falling all over themselves to offer him a max deal if he doesn't immediately resign with LA this offseason. They already seem to be blowing up. Kawhi is in a glorious spot to get out of dodge before the full season implosion occurs......beginning in about 5 months. Yes and he’s unquestionably getting a Max offer by whoever makes him any offer. And Kawhi has the option to walk after this year if things really blow up.
