Yeah. If this was Bryson, we'd be killing him for it.Brooks & Berger arguing with the rules official who is just trying to do his job is a little tough to take. If Brooks is that worried about his wrist then just take an unplayable.

it did sound that way, didn't it? Could he theoretically have spoken up and would it have mattered at all to the officials?Sergio almost sounds like he agrees with Brooks. This is bizarre.
So what would happen if a player had to withdraw in this format? Just concede entire match? Can a teammate come in and take his place?Good for the two rules officials.
"If i break my wrist its on you guys"
shut up Brooks. So unlikeable. Take an unplayable.
To be fair I think his club went through itAnd, gee, he didn't break his arm
he did swing through the ditch though which was his pointAnd, gee, he didn't break his arm
To be fair I think his club went through it
It wasn't the ditch itself, it was hitting the opposite side of the ditch that he seemed worried about. And the rules guy looked at the line and said, "no, I dont think the opposite side (which is raised up from the ditch and therefor the potential problem) is in the swing path. And the rules guy was exactly right. He swung along the ditch, not across it, as far I I could tell.To be fair I think his club went through it
It definitely stayed above the root mat on the other side of the ditch, which I understood to be his main concern.Did it? I thought it was below where the club went.
Thats how I read it too.It wasn't the ditch itself, it was hitting the opposite side of the ditch that he seemed worried about. Nice shot and Casey is extremely likable. No praise for the eagle hole-out?
At this point, so does Koepka ... who appears to be a one-man teamI think Finau deserved a spot in the am.
In the middle of his match, he's pretty fired up and in his zone. The response from him was not that far out of line.I agree Brooks can be a jerk but I do think he was concerned about what was under the drainage particularly given his injury. And his club seemed to go through the area he was worried about so just because there proved to be nothing under it doesn’t mean he wasn’t right.
I agree his comment about his wrist to the officials was petulant and way out of line.
And this board would trash him for it. But ... laundrySeve would have done the same thing, said the same things, and taken another half hour.
Yeah that's kind of the point of the RC isn't it?And this board would trash him for it. But ... laundry
Not for me. I just want to watch great golfYeah that's kind of the point of the RC isn't it?
And what about Sons of Sam Torrance? And this board would trash him for it. But ... laundry

Perhaps this line has been used here before, but I found it to be fantastic. And what about Sons of Sam Torrance?
Agreed, and neither team seems to capitalize on chances to take a leadIt's looking more and more like 2 points for USA and 1 point for Europe. Match 3 is such a big pivot point.
Launch the wearer, hang the clothes. Win-win.Or strung from a pole
No, it's fine. It's real. You know, in actuality, Berger would have to struggle with this problem every day.Garcia opens the door, Berger walks into the wall.
