J-man, how did Wilson look?game review
qb was up/down running game was awful denver has 7 or 8 good WR even without patrick ol is better the def was very good i think denver new DC will be a head coach in 2-3 years Hackett is a upgrade on vic at least as far on clock manment
next week will be a playoff type test as we play buff the afc fav
right now i have denver at 10 wins those 2 games aga vegas will be defacto playoff games
off B- Def A

Appreciate your insight, j-man. Looking forward to seeing Russ drop some rainbows in the high altitude.my 02
QB the backup qb is a horror show if russ goes down denver is a 3 win team if SF cuts jimmy and if he wouild take a backup contact that would be pefect
RB 3 good RB here no worries
WR they go 6/7 deep here even without patrick great shape here
O-Line Better than last year sll need to work on rub block but last night was great
D-line i worry about stopping the run but hopefully D J Jones makes a diff
Edge deepest part of the team all can play
Ilb griffin has inprove from just another guy to a key starter with jewell
CB top 3 are fine but from 4 on down are worries
S they go 5 deep here
basiccy if russ plays all 17 games this is a 10-7 11-6 team
yeah and sadly u cant count out vegas as well buff is clearly the afc fav but the afc west winner should be 2nd no matter what rec they areAppreciate your insight, j-man. Looking forward to seeing Russ drop some rainbows in the high altitude.
Tough division this year, but Denver has a chance to hang with the Chiefs and Chargers.

I think go to your first post of the thread and and edit?thanks tims4wins how do u change the thead tittie
for 1 game he is ok but he is too up/down with the football in the nfl great college qbYou still down on Brett Rypien, J-Man?
I watched him pretty closely in college (I'm a Boise fan) and he had an up and down career. I'm pulling for him, but a little surprised, honestly, to see him win the #2 anywhere in the NFL. Happy to be proven wrong.
bumpthanks tims4wins how do u change the thead tittie
Oh, I think Denver looked pretty good, albeit against an opponent I expected to be hot garbage. Just so many self inflicted wounds.Huge overreaction to the loss on this teams long term outlook imo. Broncos moved the ball at will and struggled inside the 10 which was a theme with several teams in Week 1. Definitely questionable coaching decisions both in-game and leading up to the game. New HC, OC, DC and QB but you don’t play yoir starters in the preseason? I still expect Denver to be in the playoff mix but their ceiling is pretty capped with a brutal schedule.
Quoted you but was referring to the general public feeling across the country this morning. We saw in Week 1 the ramifications of a shortened preseason and how many of the teams who underperformed were those same teams who didn’t prepare for Wk 1/play starters in those games.Oh, I think Denver looked pretty good, albeit against an opponent I expected to be hot garbage. The defense in the first half is what would give me pause about their season outlook. To their credit, they clamped down in the second half, but Geno’s run to start the game would have me nervous to face…every other Qb in their division. Obviously just week 1 and all that, but between that, Russ looking iffy, and the way the game ended, I can understand the relative trashing even if it’s reactionary.Huge overreaction to the loss on this teams long term outlook imo. Defense gave up 250 yards and 17 points. They weren't the problem yesterday, even if it was Geno Smith. The defense in the first half is what would give me pause about their season outlook. I live in Seattle and have watched many Russell Wilson games, and he frequently had problems getting snaps off in time. So I'm not sure you can lay all of the blame for that aspect on Hackett. I don't know how much of it is because of Wilson, either, but now I've seen him do it for two different teams, two different coaching staffs (albeit with a very small sample size with Denver). As someone watching the game pretty neutrally, the thing that would scare me about the Broncos was clearly Hackett. And not just the end of the game. They couldn't get plays in on time several times during the night, one of which led directly to the Williams fumble, obviously he was completely overwhelmed end of game, just even by calling the timeouts after his decisionmaking had contributed heavily to the loss - Hopefully it's just a night of tremendous jitters for a rookie, but as a leader of men, I wouldn't feel great that he'll keep the respect of that room if he continues to handle game management that way. He was absolutely atrocious last night - your coach should not be the worst performer on your team, and I'm not sure second place was even close.
I heard some of the press conference on the radio and I couldn't tell what he meant. He said they should have gone for it, but then went into all the reasons the decision to kick made sense.
Yikes, that’s not goodI heard some of the press conference on the radio and I couldn't tell what he meant. He said they should have gone for it, but then went into all the reasons the decision to kick made sense.
I got the sense he meant "the kick didn't go in so obviously I wish I made a different decision" rather than "looking back on the decision and evaluating the situation, I made the wrong call".
Perhaps I didn't hear the full story but the part I heard was a bit confusing.
The questions asked shouldn’t even have been about the kick. If I’m a reporter in that room I’m going with, “So you have the ball with 4 min to go and 3 timeouts from your own 22. How in the name of Rick Upchurch does it take you 4 entire minutes to gain 32 yards?”I heard some of the press conference on the radio and I couldn't tell what he meant. he also said he wated to use up the clock so that seattle wouild have no time left he way overthink this denver played well on def in the 2nd haif esp in the 4th q this is why every team should hire a madden player to scout the team u play that week and to go over game management like what to do on 3rd 4th last 2 min of both haifs and last 4 min of gameThe questions asked shouldn’t even have been about the kick. If they used tempo early in that drive they still could have had reasonable time remaining for a second drive had the first one failed.
The coaching at the end of the both halves was fucking abysmal. He called 3 straight runs from the shotgun at the one inch line….not to mention the complete tire fire at the end of the game. That was seriously one of the worst coached gamesThe questions asked shouldn’t even have been about the kick.
