This is assuming Miami and Philly win their play-in games which while likely is not a sure thing.

I'd rather play Miami early (before they can work up any momentum) and Philly late (I'll believe Embiid can play well outside of round 1 when I see it).
I want to avoid Miami not out of any fear but because I am just sick of seeing those guys play and I find the Heat Culture thing so annoying.
Pacers-Bucks series would be fun given what's gone on previously this season.
From a neutral fan standpoint, Celtics/Heat, Knicks/Sixers and Bucks/Pacers would be a incredible set of 1st round matchups in the east (Cavs/Magic, who gives a shit).
Yeah, I want the Heat. Just like I wanted the Nets in the first round two years ago. Time to exorcise that demon.
They should probably want to lose here, yeah. Bucks will likely lose first round anyway, so homecourt irrelevant.
why so confident in this particular path playing out? assuming a bucks loss plus a second round where home court is irrelevant?
I mean Knicks being 3 is irrelevant for homecourt if Bucks lose to Philly anyway.
Well, one of them wins and avoids the Cs until the finals.
I know we're fixated on worst case, but the team that loses that could easily be upset by Chicago or Atlanta.
The Bulls are gonna finish just under .500 without arguably 2 of their top 3 players. Management will 100% convince themselves to stand pat because they think they have LaVine and Ball coming back next year, and it will be 1000% incorrect.
Solid username, and solid point by you. If we only have to play one of the Bucks and Knicks, rather than both, it's an "easy path". I won't ask for much more than that (ok, maybe just avoiding Miami, for the injury risk alone).
He's not as good at protecting the rim as White or as capable of guarding up as Holiday, but among guards there is no greater ballhawk than Caruso. God damn.
And the Knicks are unbelievably sloppy here. Just repeatedly giving the ball away, sometimes with no pressure at all.
Yeah. This is exactly the thing. Take out the trash in the first round and then take care of business in the second round and then see who has managed to crawl into the ECF. and ruin their hopes and dreams This is our spring schedule.
