Dusty left France in too long, but Nerris has been shitty recently, too. The Astros relievers haven't been able to recreate their magic from last year.

Somebody mentioned ALCS game seven 2004 (you know the one). This game does remind me of that game...the big early lead, but so many innings to go and anything can happen with the dangerous team in the other dugout.

Big difference is the Red Sox had a cruising starter, though, right? Only needed 3 bullpen innings.

Astros are going to get a look at lots of bullpen that they have seen several times already. I’ve said it before — the problem with bullpen games is the weak link problem. You have to count on lots of players all coming up big.
