It was interesting in that booking.com commercial. Everyone in the family had a slightly different view about what they wanted their vacation to be like, but they worked through it using booking.com, and found an option they were all happy with. I wonder if that was a true story.

I’m just glad it worked out. They seemed like nice people.

Braves lineup has easily more top tier star power than Philly, and is deeper. With Strider and Fried going back to back, I see Braves in 3 or 4

The half season with the Sox has lingering effects on Kyle’s base running I see

Total squander by Philly. How slow is Bohm? That play at first wasn't even close.

Bloom drafted Jeremy Wu-Yelland 8 spots before Strider.
You really can’t do this with MLB draft picks unless there’s like a consensus number one you don’t take. It’s all so random. If the “was he a bust” discussion happened in the Sox forum, there’d be an argument that anyone who makes it to like AAA isn’t a bust

Plus, he was drafted in the 4th round. Every team passed on him multiple times, including the Braves.

Every at bat is a grind. This Astros lineup is built to wear pitching staffs out over multiple game series.

He really is a terrific all around player. He’s fun to watch.
His throws are always on the money and quick. His blocking is so fundamentally sound. And the offense is elite for a catcher. He reminds me a lot of Posey, with slightly less offense but better defense

Edit to add: I’ve always wonder how people rank catchers from 2000-now. Who’s the best? I think you can make a case for like 4 different guys

Dunno if swings out of the zone is a stat available publicly, but the Twins probably have 3x as many as the Astros.
