Lots of changes at Oak Hill but the course looks fantastic. I'm marshalling #16 and am amazed at the logistics and work involved in hosting such an event.
The PGA of America is the governing body that runs the PGA Championship, not the PGA Tour. The Tour is a separate governing body.
It’s most likely is going to be delayed tomorrow morning. Should be mid 30s around 7 am so there will be frost on the ground.

Lol one of the ads on espn plus just showed some of the bunkers and at the end the voice over said “So if you hear a pro say a twelve letter word, do not judge”
this morning’s round has been enjoyable to watch so far. The wind is picking up.
Homa playing well so far. Justin rose, DJ, Adam Scott all on the course and near the lead. Will be interesting to see what the lead finishes up at today.

Block's interview on ESPN after his round was fantastic. He was candid and funny and feathered the perfect mix of taking it seriously and embracing how absurd this has the potential to be. I'm rooting for him.
There have already been 35 doubles or others on 6. That's more than half the field that has played the hole.
Edit: Featured groups rolling through the hole now. Good drive leaves you 200ish in. Max, DJ and Phil hit it into the Tom Kim honorary mudd penalty area on the right and had to drop at like 260 yards away and hit their 3rd shot with woods. Right of the green is dead so they all go left, but the creek also winds around the left side. Max hit it back into the creek. DJ and Phil both hung up on the bank. Then on the chip you have to get it up and over a ridge or else it's rolling back and you have a 50+ foot bogey putt. DJ and Phil left theirs short.

Why are we rooting against him? I saw his interviews he seemed like an OK guy. Yes his game is different.

Dumb question from someone who sparingly watches: can they use a rangefinder or is that completely against the rules?
Yeah, the PGA of America started allowing them a few years ago. You don’t see them much.
2 Rahm mic smashes in a row. Have to have a tech crew follow him around to replace them. Haven’t seen him run this hot in quite a while.

Nope. They were rolling one of the fairways a little while ago but otherwise hasn’t been any delays or talks of delays.
