Cantlay's caddie was celebrating basically the only good moment for the US thus far and he got in the way of Rory. Not on purpose. Rory laughed it off but then Lowry started chirping. What’s he saying?
Joey was celebrating Cantlay’s putt and inadvertently bumped into Rory. Lowry got pissy and told Joe to get out of the way. Joe told him to fuck off. What’s he saying?
So, the caddy was an ass and Lowry's the jerk?Cantlay's caddie was celebrating basically the only good moment for the US thus far and he got in the way of Rory. Not on purpose. Rory laughed it off but then Lowry started chirping.
don't think he even bumped him just got in his path as he walking to his ballJoey was celebrating Cantlay’s putt and inadvertently bumped into Rory. Lowry got pissy and told Joe to get out of the way. Joe told him to fuck off.
It was accidental and The caddie bumped Rory who said no big deal and laughed it off. Lowry then struts all in to insert himself. Go find the video of Lowry running all over the green yesterday. He’s in the wrong. So, the caddy was an ass and Lowry's the jerk?
I'll take your word for it. There's been plenty from each side over the years, thoughIt was accidental and The caddie bumped Rory who said no big deal and laughed it off. Lowry then struts all in to insert himself. Go find the video of Lowry running all over the green yesterday. He’s in the wrong.
My word wasn't good enough?I'll take your word for it. There's been plenty from each side over the years, though
Bones was trying to diffuse. But Rory really did look pissed. I wonder what happened. I love this fake WWE drama. It's so stupid. But compelling.i have officially come to the point where the whole emotion thing is baloney. I really like McGinley but enough with the “heart makes it happen” BS.
My guess is Rory saw the whole hat waving thing from Joey after and started to get pissed. There’s so much of this on both sides and it’s all silly but fun. Once you are ok with fans screaming and cheering a miss or bad shot you’ve set the rulesBones was trying to diffuse. But Rory really did look pissed. I wonder what happened. Yeah that’s the difference in the match right now even with getting skull fucked on Friday morning. Even if it was 10-6 it’s pretty doable.sham they puked away those points yesterday afternoon. 9.5-6.5 would be a lot more interesting.
Do you think that’s what happened? I think Joe probably overdid it and should’ve apologized but I don’t think he was pulling anything. After seeing that clip, it just reinforces how I think about this stuff. Spontaneous celebration is fine; pulling a "dick move" in an attempt at gamesmanship, particularly by a caddy, crosses that invisible line.
I’m not. You don’t want the u.s. getting too much going early and give their back end any motivationIf US can get on a roll early, I think they could pull it off. Very surprised EU did not backload it with more of their big guys.
But if they do, the back end will start to believe and you’re left with just Lowry and Fleetwood as guys who are experienced. Luke Donald is smarter than I am, but just a bit surprised that a Rory/Hovland/Rahm wasn’t stashed in the back.I’m not. I think I agree with that. Didn’t think it was gamesmanship more like let himself get carried away and should’ve apologized and be done with it.Tbh I don’t think Rory was mad about him there in the line but after Rory asks him to move the clip makes it seem like he mutters something to Rory before turning and shooting his mouth of to someone else. That was a bit much for a caddy. If a player tells you to move from either team, you move and don’t make yourself part of the story.
I think Donald got it right. Don’t worry about the what if scenario. Send the big guns out early and try to end it instead of holding them back to hedge against a red wave. But if they do, the back end will start to believe and you’re left with just Lowry and Fleetwood as guys who are experienced. Yeah I mean it almost doesn't matter how ZJ sent them out there because they're going to need everybody to do well. I actually thought he would front load it more than he did.I think Donald got it right. Don’t worry about the what if scenario. Send the big guns out early and try to end it instead of holding them back to hedge against a red wave.
I think ZJ got it right too. They need to play a lot better but there is definitely a path.
I'm really coming around to a neutral party setting up the courses for this thing. The yardages are tricked up to give the Euros the advantage. I haven’t done it but would be interesting to compare to the layout for the Italian Open.
So I’m wondering if similar to banning shifts in baseball, the ability to analyze this stuff is at such a high level that combined with formats you can really impact the balance.I'm really coming around to a neutral party setting up the courses for this thing.
The Ryder Cup is supposed to be fun. Blowouts are anything but fun and really detrimental to the spirit of things.
