This guy had a 5.50 ERA in the regular season. What a playoffs turn around

In the future no one will remember that the 2023 World Series was closed by a guy named Sborz

How about Bruce Bochy? The other happiest guy might be Max Scherzer. Went from the Mets to a Wrld Series champ.

Happy for the Rangers (everyone except Aroldis). Would have liked to see them win at home (and get an extra game or two to watch)

Marcus Semien has a bright post-baseball future. Well spoken, good looking dude.

I’m 50 years old, been a baseball fan my entire life, and it is soooo weird to think of the Texas Rangers as World Series champs. Congrats to their fans, first time is the sweetest.

So the ’62 expansion Senators turned Rangers get a world title….another one down.

Also happy for Nate, a bona fide Red Sox hero.

11 and freakin' 0 on the road. It's just unreal. That record'll stand awhile. Or maybe not. Baseball!

So happy for Semien who toiled for a long time in obscurity in Oakland.
My son and I used to go to Spring Training every year and see at least one A's game. And every single year, Marcus Semien would be throwing the ball all over the place. He could always hit, but becoming a steadier fielder could not have been easy. Good for him.

Interesting to see a team that was truly in GFIN mode win it all. The Rangers managed to eat Scherzer's and DeGrom's injuries, not to mention Garcia's, and win anyway. Really impressive.

And I'm happy for Nate.

I worked for 3.5 years with the Rangers several years back, and I couldn't be happier for those guys. A really great group in the front office who are entirely deserving of this.
