Mike Hopkins is out at the University of Washington. He finished his time there just a bit over a .500 winning percentage.

He's done a hell of a job at FAU. He's responsible for six of their eleven .500+ seasons and his last two teams have finished in the top 50 in KenPom (17th in 2022-23), 47th in 2023-24)

Kentucky fans want Calipari gone badly, but also won't settle for anybody less than Dan Hurley taking the job, so it should be fun times ahead.

I don’t get why Cal would do this. He has no legacy intact at Memphis and UMass. Now he wants to ensure he will never be invited back to Kentucky again when he’s retired?

Had been at UK for 15 years. Probably ready for a change plus more money. Never saw a move like this coming though.

Well, after Calipari wears out his welcome at Arkansas, he can always go back and coach our alma mater (Division II Clarion)

my Alma mater firing Rob Lanier set off a chain of events that I don’t think anyone saw coming.

Andy Enfield to SMU
Eric Musselman to USC
John Calipari to Arkansas
? To Kentucky
