So we have a thread for guys you like.....

Who are the guys you just really don't like compared to the public.

Can be for good reasons, vibes, anything.

For me it's Xavier Legette. I hate WRs who can't run routes, and his routes stink. I don't like guys who only have a single good year right before the draft at an advanced age. I hate guys who get a dumb comp and then it gets ridden into the ground despite not making a ton of sense (Legette got the DK Metcalf comp in part because of size... except turns out he's only like 6'1", I don't like guys who are just straight line runners (and skip agility drills). He's basically the perfect prospect to annoy me.

Theo Johnson. I want to like him because his 9.99 RAS makes him seem like a Day 3 TE with upside. But he's got no production because he just can't play football very well. He sucks.

Keon Coleman. No interest in a guy who can make contested catches. At #34., I'd rather have an OT or a WR with a higher ceiling.
I’m with you. There is a role for a guy like that but we need someone who has potential to be more dynamic. He impressed me in the games I watched but gives me Harry vibes.

Bo Nix. I have no faith in QBs who play college ball for what, six years? Is he 25? And who thrive in a conference with poor defenses against players 5 and 6 years younger than they are. Casey Weldon vibes.

24 y/o. Played 5 years, starting AUB as a true freshman. Did he get an extra year of eligibility b/c of Covid?
edit: but, yeah, it feels like he’s been in college football for a decade.

I don't want Troy Franklin, great age adjusted production but on tape he doesn't play through contact well and at 176lbs gives my Tyquan vibes. He is a much better route runner but I'm just not a fan of small WR that play small. Xavier Worthy is even smaller but plays much bigger than Franklin. I'm also not interested in Malachi Corley, he is getting Deebo hype for some reason but he doesn't run routes downfield at all. Basically just catches screens and bullies small college DBs.

I can see we've all looked pretty heavily at the WRs this year. It's Devontez Walker for me. He's a go route only guy. I get heavy Darrius Heyward-Bey vibes. His ability has a place somewhere but as like a 4th option.

AD Mitchell - could be a superstar with a good QB/coach but his effort is so bad at times, not a good fit for the current roster/coaching staff

Xavier Worthy - needs creative offensive mind, not a good fit

Michael Penix - injuries, needs vertical receivers and good OL. Terrible fit for the Pats

Olu Fashanu - freakishly small hands don’t give me optimism that his already questionable/raw run blocking will ever become good enough to warrant a 1st round pick. Overrated

Brandon Dorlus - not sure who was giving him pre-draft advice but losing weight heading to the combine makes him way too much of a guy without a position. Should have added weight and stuck at 3T

Nate Wiggins - love his attitude and competitiveness, major concerns about his weight and ability to play in the run game

Kam Kinchens - undersized and underathletic. Low ceiling and low floor

Troy Franklin - just don’t see anything superlative. Might be a solid 2B or elite 3 but will be drafted as a 1.

Bucky Irving - nowhere near as explosive as people think. Lack of contact balance and ability to break tackles. Not sure what he does well enough to succeed in the pros

JaTavion Sanders - straight line speed is all he has. No explosion, no polish as a receiver

around the way
Anti-binkies, great idea.

Don't want to go too high on these WR: Coleman, Tez Walker, Johnny Wilson
Like but think that he's more than a year away and will be drafted too high: Latham, Rosengarten
Doesn't really have a position and will be drafted too high: Barton, Edgerrin Cooper
Why is he rising: Speights
Too small, too skinny, basically a project: all of the cornerbacks
