He’s saying that he’s trying to get away from fly balls and aiming for more contact and line drives, and I love that for him.
Yeah, I think that's what got Duran to the next level last year, too. They are both the type of players that the new rules were designed to benefit. We didn't get to see it too much from Hamilton last year, but if he can end up even a .315-.330 OBP guy he is a nice weapon off the bench.

David Hamilton, who was acquired from the Brewers along with JBJ for Hunter Renfroe, drove in a run. It would be a fine thing if that wretched trade finally yielded a dividend. As it is, I expect we'll see Hamilton riding the shuttle from Worcester to Boston quite often in 2024.
