To be honest, he didn't make much of an impression on me. He was called up, he went back down, he was on the 15-day IL list, etc. He wasn't as bad as Llovera, so there was that.
I am very interested in Teel, b/c the catcher position is so key. I am interested primarily in his defensive role.
He was the 2nd best regular on the staff by FIP, 3rd by ERA and xFIP, and that includes a single catastrophic appearance in September that accounted for over 20% of his hits and 25% of his runs. He didn't have the hype but he was excellent.
I think the roster is too big for this 7 inning game. They will probably try to get everyone in so we'll see the stars only for a few innings.
