I just came across these which are pretty cool:

They include the stats on the ball in the air, the chance of a ball like that being caught, & there is a link to the video of the play inside.

They probably need to work on their methodology when that 1st ball that went high off the wall has a better chance of being caught than this liner almost right to Chacon.

6 IP in a spring training start- wow! Staff certainly has been impressive and locked in this spring, hopefully it translates to a hot start. Certainly a different approach from years past.

Everyone definitely looks more locked in & ready to go than last year...

... but oddly enough, on March 24, 2023 (3/24/23 & 3/23/24), Nick Pivetta had a 6 inning Spring Training start, allowing 2 ER.

(10 hits, 2 bb & 5 k, compared to 5 hits, 1 bb & 9 k today, though)

Chances of Troye tweeting about throwing to Acuna: very high.
I double-checked just to make sure he hadn't already. I guess family is in town so he's slowed his pace.

Casas actually playing defense & Yoshida being mostly a DH makes Cron pretty unuseful for us.

9 is not a very large sample size.

I'm not sure why Slaten has pitched so little this spring though. Hope he's healthy.
