Kornet with 4 assists, 6 boards. He's got great court awareness and he's finally starting to develop some rebounding instinct.

Also, Hauser is smoking hot.

The refs saw Tatum's swinging arm around back and anticipated the offensive foul, but his defender was already beat and the arm towards the back gave him no advantage. Just more evidence of the refs changing their philosophy to lean defense mid-season. Of course they were already biased against JT, so does this reduce his FTs to 2 per game? Half joking.

Damn Tatum really out of sorts. Can we give him a week off just to go on a retreat with Hanlen? Or just get away from the court?

Maybe instead of trying to get Tatum an end of quarter bucket in every end of quarter situation we might use the time while the games don’t matter to see if something else works. We have a better chance of scoring if we let Pritch dribble it down then take a 40 footer, for example.

Just when it looks like the C's are going to run away with this and win by 30, Utah hits a couple of 3s.

Tatum's shot selection is suspect tonite.

And yet Tatum is having a good game and no disasters have happened yet. 100% perfect execution is the standard

By my calculations, Kornet now has stats of 70% FG and 90% FT. That’s got to be pretty rare once you have a certain number of attempts.

Luke as a screener is really effective. Has the size to set a good screen and the hands to catch and distribute. Theoretically, he could pop, too, given his one-time three-point prowess. Wonder if he ever brings that back out.

Not a great shot profile for the Jazz this game. Lots of floater range 2s.
