My boss forgot to mention there were company tickets available for tonight's game available. Those tickets were no longer available when I eventually became aware of this fact.

My boss is a Rangers fan.

Boy do I miss the "Perfection Line". Even just having Marchand and Pasta paired up feels like something we dont see enough of this season.

Quick glance at the analytics, but the Rags seem very similar to the B's this year. Mediocre possession team with good goaltending and above average shooting percentage. Key difference? Share of power play time: NYR are 9th, the Bruins are... 30th.

First time I've been able to catch a game in about a month. Its off to a good start.

Assuming this team is trying to get into playoff form, they stem a couple steps back in finesse, but a step up in hustle compared to last year.

The structure leading to clean passing is still there. The active D men occasionally leading to odd-man rushes the other way are also still there.
