I’m kinda open to seeing what Lindholm could fetch in the offseason.
If other teams have been watching this year, probably not much. His play has been so disappointing, especially given how good he was last year in the regular season. I know the injury has been mentioned, but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a player go from dominant in all areas to not having one thing that I can point to as being a strong suit in a season. He’s been brutal.

On a random note, I’m through 8 periods at 3 road games, and the combined score is 6-1 home team. I think I’m done watching the Bruins on the road. Ever.

This, I know he's brutal to the eye test, but his underlying is basically the same as last year.
This is an honest question and not a wise ass response. Is it that hockey is perhaps the most random of the major sports that the background numbers are not telling the “real story” in other words the puck tumbled in his favor last year and the opposite may be happening this year?

Sounds like my beginning of the year run. Watched them lose in OT in MTL, NJ, Vegas

FWIw, most of Lindholm’s underlying are in line with last year
Any idea what we’re seeing then? Because he seems to get outmuscled and is very passive in his own zone, doesn’t have any burst and can’t carry through the neutral zone, and isn’t finding the seams he did last year. At least from what I see. And I thought he carried the team with McAvoy out last year and was the best defenseman for large portions even when McAvoy was back.

I honestly can't answer this one, the eye test doesn't track with the numbers at all. There are others on this board that are far better at understanding and explaining the numbers than I am. I'm sure luck has something to do with it, but I'm at a loss to explain the stark difference myself

Didn't realize it was a day game, catching up on the thread. What happened to Marchand? And has Ersson been standing on his head or has the team not been able to get good shots unlike the last few minutes?

Took a knee-on-knee in the first, no call, then got an unsportsmanlike for slamming his stick and carrying on.

And Ersson’s been about as under fire as I have.

He hasn't been tested at all. Bruins offense has been non existent

Has Peeke been a decent replacement for Fortbert? His name seems to come up less in terms of “What in the name of fuck is Fortbert/Peeke doing!?!” Im curious what others see/feel about his play since becoming a Bruin.

My feed must be way behind. If his goal counted the other day on that BS offside call would Braz have 6 goals in like 12 games?
