Ok I know this is a stretch, but Braz’s size and hands in front of the net remind me of a certain guy with a movie CAMeo as a guy named Seabass

So, can they do a 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th player award? Heinen, Geekie, Bovqist, and Braz? I mean seriously with the loss of talent we had from last year those first three have truly done a great job, and Braz is just fun to watch

Well fuck… delays make this post seem oddly out of place

Especially with two guys like Lindholm and Carlo playing so badly.

They better figure out how to win this type of game if they want to do anything in the playoffs. Because they’re all going to be like this.

Besides the Canadiens, I’ve always hated the Flyers. I hate losing to these guys especially giving up weak goals or doing dumb stuff that gives the game away. These B’s are becoming a frustrating enigma. It seems like at least one or more parts of their game has been off more frequently than not. Maybe the last 2 games and the 15 OTLs are driving this feeling, (the OT rules are different in the playoffs so we have that going for us, right? :). But they gotta be able to pull out these types of games or they will fade quickly in the playoffs.

The problem isn’t getting shoved around or defending or any of that shit. The problem is they can’t generate shit offensively.

Any idea what we’re seeing then? Because he seems to get outmuscled and is very passive in his own zone, doesn’t have any burst and can’t carry through the neutral zone, and isn’t finding the seams he did last year. At least from what I see. And I thought he carried the team with McAvoy out last year and was the best defenseman for large portions even when McAvoy was back.
We’re seeing him suck. Even Lindholm doesn’t believe his underlying stats tell the accurate story.

Still, there is some shoving around going on. That could be interfering with their ability to generate offense. Strictly an eye-test thing, but it’s one possible explanation.
Or more likely, they’re just experiencing a slump.

We’ve been saying that for four years. They got pushed around in the playoffs in the last two years, at this point I’m not sure they’re anything but who they are.
Honestly I think what they are is a team that has such a good internal culture that they overachieve their talent level in the regular season.

Yesterday’s game score chart from HockeyStatCards:

How Lindholm-Carlo survives as a pair is baffling. Also, the lack of green on there says a lot, especially from guys like Marchand, Pastrnak, and Zacha.
