I was lamenting how annoying SAS can be and then that guy was like, “hold my beer…”
The team with the best record in the entire NBA by 5.5 games needs this game more than the team fighting to even make the play in because of a finals 2 years ago. Really smart take there Bobby

Is it impossible that Kerr starts with his bench, to see if they can match the energy?

Curry has nothing tonight, he is likely hurt. The chances of winning this are very small. Wouldn’t you think about it if you were him?

I'd run the starters out for most of the third quarter, at least. If they've still got a 40-point lead with a few minutes left in the third, stick in the bench. Or go to the bench whenever Golden State does, which feels like it will be sometime in the third.

Nice try Bob. I think the Celtics see GS as a minor, nice obstacle to overcome. Their mental tormenters are Miami and their mountain is Denver.

I am assuming Golden State will sit the starters the rest of the game. Maybe we see the Celtics starters for 6 more minutes?

Myers thinks Boston needs this win more than GS. That is some take.
Someone should ask him if he knows that the difference between 10 and 5 in the west is just 3.5 games, less than half the deficit between the Celtics and 2nd place in the east. Warriors have 23 games left, they need every last win they can grab with just to climb as high as they can in the standings.

Curry clearly hurt, and started the game anyway. It meant something to him.

I’ve never seen Myers before and had forgotten who he was. But just watching his body language while Mt. SAS was erupting I was like, “This dude is about to make a hundred excuses.” Which he then did.

I will admit that SAS having no time for Myers trying to pivot to Brad Stevens’ genius to was very satisfying. How thin skinned Dan you be? Just do what DMac did on FNIA and call it like you see it, man. At least you’ll leave with your dignity.

Just to be clear: I have no issue at all with Steph sitting rest of this out. That guy was clearly hurt, and has already proven everything you could possibly ever ask on a basketball court.

Klay and Draymond…..well, that might be a different story for me

I am annoyed they are letting this be "just one of those games" for the Warriors, but I bet if it was the C's they'd be questioning their mental toughness

I think that timeout is it—he saw GS getting chipping (Quinones just shoved White; Paul had dropped a shoulder last possession) and hopefully says it’s enough

Yep

The only thing that can happen now is an injury/chea shot. I’m nervous. If it were Miami, I’d be terrified.

There would be plenty here who question the Cs heart and toughness.

There are people here who are convinced they will fall in the playoffs because of Mazzulla or either/both the Jays aren't good enough or they don't have a rebounding big or whatever.

Narratives and takes are stupid. That's my hot take

I have never seen 18 minutes of garbage time.
Hopefully enough time for Luke to get a 3.
