We've got to seriously talk about Luke Kornet and the kind of ball he has been playing. He's gone from a fun curiosity to a legit quality NBA player.

I'm still convinced we beat Denver if Kornet had played some minutes instead of the double big with AL and Tillman when Joker was off.

Really impressive that Jaylen just has become a much much better player compared to last year on both O and D (even when KP is not playing).
Right? While JT has a higher ceiling, JB is becoming more trustworthy game to game with his higher floor he's recently reached

Perhaps it is as simple is that he has managed to avoid injuries.
That should be a factor, but it seems he is processing what is going on in the court much better than previous years (better passes out of drives, not driving into 4 people crowding the paint, not getting lost on D regarding cuts to the basket, etc)

This has been a dreadful 5 minute stretch for JB. 0 for 7, 2 fouls and a turnover

All started when he missed an absolutely wide open layup/put back.

I hear ya, but like with everything with this team right now, I want them to work on different/better end of Q plays. I love Joe messing with lineups and rotations, why are we not doing the same in that situation?
That's fair.

My view is that Brown and Tatum need reps against a set defense because that's what they are likely to see in the playoffs. Especially with a short clock because they are the default grenade catchers.
