I feel comfortable predicting that if this team scores 9 every day, they're going to win a lot more than they lose.

It’s nice that they’re 2-1 and scoring 9 runs a game and all, but I just can’t enjoy it knowing that the Sox have fallen to fourth in the Boston market in popularity based upon the totally objective opinion of Shank and a few posters here.

I’ve also heard that people are having FUN at Fenway, which is just unfathomable!

astride the divide
I almost posted about that mid-game. I was watching the Rays broadcast (laid up with Covid, so sue me) and they were yammering about the club's new HOF. Hell, we've been around 25 years, it's time, huh?

So I didn't catch the answer to the above question per se, but the inaugural TBRHOF class is Zimmer, Boggs, and Crawford. Quite a Sox trifecta there. What a crap franchise.

From the interview with Zim's kid it sounded like some 45 members of the Zimmer family made it to St. Pete for the weekend to celebrate the honor.

And the Renegades. And the Pride.
I’ve been to more Free Jacks games than Red Sox games this season, so in my experience they are behind them too.

The Red Sox are already mathematically eliminated from going undefeated, so the season is over anyway. They are a Disgraceful failure.
Luckily , arguing about where the team ranks in popularity is way more fun than enjoying a win.

Boggs played in a grand total of 213 games for Tampa, getting 210 hits in his final two seasons.

This team definitely has fight in them. Please link back to this post during their annual August swoon.
