Ground Zero
I almost posted about that mid-game. I was watching the Rays broadcast (laid up with Covid, so sue me) and they were yammering about the club's new HOF. Hell, we've been around 25 years, it's time, huh?

So I didn't catch the answer to the above question per se, but the inaugural TBRHOF class is Zimmer, Boggs, and Crawford. Quite a Sox trifecta there. What a crap franchise.

From the interview with Zim's kid it sounded like some 45 members of the Zimmer family made it to St. Pete for the weekend to celebrate the honor.
Zimmer lived in the St Petersburg area ever since he got hit in the head in the ‘50s. He was a local institution. He technically was with the Rays longer than any other club (11 seasons), although was fairly ceremonial by the last few years.

I genuinely believe that this team is no more than 14-15 arms away from being special.
