Yeah this. Not to mention he has made multiple breakaway stops this series. And a 2 on 1 stop there. His "defense" has hung him out to dry, repeatedly, in this series (hell in this game).

Yeah when you're playing 3 defenseman who should be healthy scratches or in Providence and Nash is your no. 2 center it's not really a recipe for playoff success. This defense is a shitshow. Then again, that happens when you're playing the team's 7th, 8th, and 9th best defensemen.
Offense ain't much better. That's what happens when you have 2 1/2 fourth lines. This defense is a shitshow. Then again, that happens when you're playing the team's 7th, 8th, and 9th best defensemen.
Going into tonight he had faced the second fewest high scoring chances in the NHL playoffs, he has been average but is paid to be much more so.His "defense" has hung him out to dry, repeatedly, in this series (hell in this game).

I wouldn't say he's above criticism, but talking about a goalie having to make a stop on one of two breakaways in a do-or-die game suggests that your criticism is...misguided.Stopping one out of two breakaways would be a start. At some point he had to make a big save. God forbid Rask take some blame.
he's been far better than average all series, and has been better than Anderson at the other end as well. he isn't in the top 10 reasons why they are where they are.Going into tonight he had faced the second fewest high scoring chances in the NHL playoffs, he has been average but is paid to be much more so.
