End this. No life for these Hawks.

I wonder if losing Murray is in some ways a benefit for the Hawks. It's obvious how it's a negative. But will Trae be more free to take over the game a la Butler last night without another star around? Just a thought, and I expect the Cs to win under either circumstance.

Maybe so, but Murray has been really freaking good this series. I won't miss seeing him out there tonite.

Trae is definitely taking 30 shots tonight. I'm fine with it.

No way, Murray has been a critical player in this series.

And Trae couldn’t dream of having a high volume/high efficiency scoring night like Jimmy had. That was one of the best individual scoring performances in playoff history.

It also takes a solid versatile defender off the floor entirely. For a team that needs as many plus defenders as it can get in order to shield Trae as much as possible, that's a pretty big hit for a team that has already had massive defensive struggles in this series.

No excuse if they don't close it out tonight.

I'm having a hard time not looking ahead to Round 2. Know it's important to take one game at a time, live in the moment, blah blah blah... but it's getting the best of me.

Like I said, it's obvious that losing Murray is a negative. I could just see Trae being a little freer and easier, and that leading to some periods of increased dominance for him. But yeah, I would press the suspension button if given the choice, also.

Since you don't play or coach the Cs, I'm OK with you doing just that!

Trae takes 45 shots while surrounded by 4BIGZ trying to get offensive rebounds on the 25 he misses.

Haven't heard much Dejounte support from the Hawks, post-suspension.

Methinks Murray's teammates don't like him much.
Very different than GSW / Green.

He is coming up on a contract year. Wonder if he’ll be dealt. May depend how well the Hawks start.

Was thinking the same, re: Green. Both coaches took the same fine-avoiding stance (" We just have to play the game in front of us"), but the player reaction was a lot different -- both with the Warriors and Hawks as well as around the league.

Which official does Barkley hate? Ernie basically told him not to name the guy because ‘we know.’ Ie, ‘the league won’t like that Charles, and I don’t want to get a note from production on this.’

If I were a teammate of Murray’s, I’d be absolutely furious with him.

Tatum fakes a drive, step back three, clangs front of rim.

Gets ball back, drives, gets the basket.

Hopefully someone points that out to him?

Maybe one of Horford or Tatum should take the wide open 3 instead of passing it back and forth

I guess I could complain we aren't playing defense, but it looks like the Hawks are either.

But, please, Celtics play defense.

Feels like a game where their starters run with us for a bit, but our bench beats the bag out of them, and their starters start sucking wind in the 4th, especially without Murray.

Watching at a bar with the sound off.. first thing that is clear to me is that the Cs are sprinting off of every rebound or made basket. Feel like the intent is to run as much as possible.

They don't seem to want to switch those Trae PnRs until the second half.
