Saturday night games, particularly on the west coast, are a crime against humanity.

That said, win like the first place team that you are.

1st place with the 5th best run differential in MLB so far.

Let's keep it going. But without the injuries, ok?

Ugh, no idea why I just assumed it was a 4 p.m. start today. That was going to work in perfectly with having it on while I cooked a Saturday night dinner. The small pleasures in life.

BOOOOO!

Win anyway.

It might be just because the west coast swing is about to end.

Really hard to read the tea leaves on Story.

David Hamilton has one of the biggest mismatches in the league between how cool his nickname is and how much he actually produces.

Is the poster “Blizzard” came from still here? Haven’t seen much bold in these threads

Wasn't he a comic book artist who lost all his fingers or something?

I have no problem with that lineup. None at all.

OK, I tried to talk myself into it, but I am worried that Dalbec goes Ofer with an error. edit: (missed that he was DHing)

If he comes up to bat with Devers on third, looses his grip on a swing, and sends his bat spiraling towards Raffy like a stray propellor, does that qualify as an “error”?

Dalbec is my guy, I root so hard for him. However my standard of success for him has plummeted.

It used to be hit a home run, or a double, or hit something hard, then it was just a single or a walk, now….when I watch his at bats, I seriously say to myself, “please just ground out to short,”

Another night of whiffs and it will be “please just foul one off”

Bobby might could have a good night yet. If he's on the roster for anything it's to hit left handers, and for his career he does that way better than Yoshida.

I'm fine with him getting in there to DH against a LHP starter.

Looking forward to Whitlock starting.
The coach of Alabama's basketball team is Nate Oats, which is the same name as one of the people Paul Anderson used to base one of his characters in the movie Boogie Nights.
