Ugh, no idea why I just assumed it was a 4 p.m. start today. That was going to work in perfectly with having it on while I cooked a Saturday night dinner. The small pleasures in life.

I actually find this kind of encouraging on Story, to be honest, because I agree. I think Hamilton is more "fungible" (to steal a term used on the main board), and so I am hoping that preliminaries on Story aren't as bad as we feared.
I am probably wrong, though.

I once used David Hamilton as an answer on the Immaculate Grid for playing at least one game at shortstop for the Red Sox.
David Hamilton has one of the biggest mismatches in the league between how cool his nickname is and how much he actually produces.

I have no problem with that lineup. None at all.

Eh, Yoshida has been pretty bad, may as well give Bobby D the shot against a LHP and let Yoshida get some rest.
I'd say don't sell Dalbec short. . .but a baserunning error would require him getting on base.
If he comes up to bat with Devers on third, looses his grip on a swing, and sends his bat spiraling towards Raffy like a stray propellor, does that qualify as an “error”?
Pretty sure Dalbec would swing and miss, while evading the would-be HBP, even with two outs in the ninth, with the bases loaded and the winning run on third.
Dalbec is my guy, I root so hard for him. However my standard of success for him has plummeted.
It used to be hit a home run, or a double, or hit something hard, then it was just a single or a walk, now….when I watch his at bats, I seriously say to myself, “please just ground out to short,”
