I'm still kinda way behind on irl things that are taking up the majority of my time, but at some point I'll get caught up on the last few days, probably in the individual team threads.

Here's today's schedule:

6:45 p.m.: AA - Portland @ Reading

7:05 p.m.: A - Salem @ Delmarva

7:05 p.m.: A+ - Bowling Green @ Greenville

Dalton Rogers retired the 1st 6 hitters, striking out 3 of them.

ETA: Actually 6 of the 1st 7. The other reached on an Eduardo Lopez error.

Landry walked in another run, then allowed a single & a double & ruined Rogers' line.

He then allowed another walk & a double before the inning ended. Greenville down 7-0.

Anthony, Mayer, Teel and Yorke all have two hits through the 6th inning. Anthony with two doubles, Teel and Yorke with one a piece, Mayer also has a sac fly.

Much better performance than last night for the kids.

B2b2b2b bb's for Bleis, AA, Johanfran & Alcantara lead to a run & give Salem a 3-2 lead.

A 4th run scored on a WP in the middle of Nelly T's walk.

Paez threw 54 pitches, 43 strikes (79.6%).

Zach Fogell came in for Paez & pitched 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit & striking out 3.

Fogell left with 2 outs & a runner on 1st in the 7th. Isaac Stebens came in & allowed a hit, but got out of the inning.

Kwiatkowski was replaced by Jacob Webb, who did a bit better, allowing 1 run in 2 innings.

Wyatt Olds in for the 7th with an 8-6 lead. It did not go well as Olds promptly allowed a walk, a single & a homer.

Olds may have been bad, but he did strike out Baron Radcliff to end the inning. Pretty awesome villain name.

Mayer walked, but Teel "sharply" flew out & Blaze lined out.

Yorke single, but Sikes popped up to the pitcher to end the inning.

I have a messed up shoulder. I enjoy playing second base, and can throw the ball generally okay, but if I happen to hit the wrong slot it sends pain into my knees and there is no telling where the ball might go.

I feel like Wyatt Olds hits my "wrong slot" on every pitch. That ball could end up literally anywhere, on or off the field.

And yes, I realize how that sounds before I hit post.

Landry went 1.1 innings in total, allowing those 3 inherited runners to score + 3 of his own.

He was relieved by Conor Steinbaugh who continued the scoreless run for Greenville's lab UDFAs.

Olds started the bottom of the 8th by hitting a guy, walking a guy & allowing a single to load the bases. He picked up a strikeout & then came out.

Brendan Cellucci came in & induced a popout & picked up a strikeout to get out of the jam.

Roman is due up 4th for Portland in the 9th down 9-8, but Paulino grounded out to start the inning.

Some positives for Portland despite the loss.

Mayer was 2-3 with a walk & a sac fly.

Roman was 2-5 with 2 doubles.

Teel was 2-4 with a double, a walk & 3 RBI.

Yorke was 3-5 with a double & an assist from LF.

Paulino was 2-5 with a steal.

Ferguson was 1-4 with a walk & a steal.
