Great start for Owens so far too - 4 IP, 2 H, 3 K, 0 BB, only 58 pitches thus far.

Owens has always been able to miss bats but the walks have been especially concerning this year.  So it's equally good to see only 1 BB tonight in addition to the 6 shutout innings

@PawSox: Rusney Castillo grounds out to 3rd base in the 7th but he's still 3-for-4 with a double, 2 homers, 4 RBI. #PawSox up 5-0.

I remain very intrigued by Wendell Rijo. Impressive power for his age but the plate discipline doesn't seem quite there. 19 in A+ with an 800 OPS for a middle infielder is plenty good enough.

Pat Light's last 8 games: 10.2 IP, 1h, 1er, 3bb/13k.

He keeps it up, he'll be in Boston this season. Looks like he's earned a 40man spot early on at least.

Light probably needs to show for 20 IP or so in AAA before he leapfrogs ahead of the myriad arms we already have in Pawtucket.
