We got this. We're starting to figure out Jimmy.

Most of you guys are awful front runners. The definition of a fair weather fan.
Most here have been ride or die for this team for a long ass time. Being pissed at this shitshow series has nothing to do with frontrunning.

I hope that made you feel better.

JB is trying to play hero ball. Thats obvious. But hey you do your sosh vs sosh drama shit, you seem to enjoy it.
it did. But I still just want to reiterate that both teams want to win so I don’t think you can say that anyone is obviously playing hero hall when the defense is so tough

I meant other than Tatum. Tatum has had some duds but he has had zero help
It helps that Miami figured out early on that they can double and triple him and force him to give the ball up. Seems like Boston figured out the same with Jimmy about 5 minutes ago. What are we afraid of, that they'll get wide open 3s? That's been happening all series anyway.

The Celtics aren’t drawing whistles because they straight line drive and go up, not enough hesitation, not enough pumpfakes. They make it easier for defenders to not be way out of position. It’s an easy easy call when Jimmy gets a guy off balance or lunging or jumping. We are hoping for handsy calls on the wrist but need to be much better and more patient in these situations.

I get that not all shots are the same, but so much of these games is basic shooting. Cs just aren't going to win shooting 5-16 from three. Heat have just disrupted their offense entirely.

Similarly, 9-21 is winning recipe for the Heat.

Losing the points via three by 12 is how you lose.

Miami 14-19 inside the arc. Boston 15-33. The lack of competitive defense in the first half was stunning.

We will learn a lot about the Celtics the first six minutes of the second half.

I want to see Kornet just to see if Brothers will call a phantom foul on one of his block attempts from 20 feet away. It's like the final boss of a tough game.

Don’t forget that sick 360 and fall down move that Smart and the Jays have mastered

Also, there’s a lot of things to blame right now, but we are shooting 41/31. Miami is 58/43. I don’t think Miami is consistently getting better looks than us. We need to play better, we need our players to make open shots, and we need the Heat to miss occasionally.

It’s really hard to have faith in these guys right now. They could just as easily have the third quarter that Miami did in game one, there’s just no reason to believe they will.

Maybe they are playing hero ball, and complaining, and doing dumb things, because after 120 minutes they have run out of other things to do.

Maybe Joe does suck. Or the deck he has doesn’t have anything better to play. Maybe these teams could play a dozen times and not much would change. Fucking weird. Hard to believe.

If plan B doesn’t include Jaylen Brown, here is the bottom line: Plan B wont be good enough either.

Didn’t Pat Riley once dunk his head in a bucket of ice to show the Heat how hard-core he was? Maybe Mazz needs to do that.

Tatum needs to get 30-35 this half unless Jaylen can play this half like he did the first few minutes of the first quarter.

The one guy that seemed to be consistently hustling on the boards and bringing it on defense is Robert Williams. He was rewarded with 4 minutes of playing time by Mazzulla:(
Because the refs put him in early foul trouble.

Of course, it could be Joe too, wouldn't doubt it. Must play Al and Smart as much as possible.

agreed. driving straight to the rim and shooting isn't gonna get you calls. Could use more driving on semi-fast breaks to pass instead of shoot too. White and Jaylen had some guys wide open w/ their heads burrowed down going to the basket.

No one is playing well right now. Literally no one.

Our best player was Tatum…And he is 4-11 with 2 assists and 2 turnovers. His defense has been good but not great.

someone, or multiple players, need to go supernova

Not taking care of things more quickly against Atlanta and Phillie has also worn down the Celtics and given them little time to rest and figure things out.

Now would be the time for a moving speech about turning it up and they need this game.

I have so much more faith in Horford and Smart doing that than Mazzulla.

It is all about the defense now. The Celtics need to hold the Heat under 50. 110 or less and the Celtics have a prayer. They aren’t going to catch more than 110. No matter who goes off.

Look, he called like a couple of timeouts. What more do you need? Like strategy and substitution patterns?
