Nice coverage by Masa and Duran. Wonder what becomes of Hernandez when Story and Chang are back. Also, Arroyo.
Story will play ss, Kike will play 2nd, Arroyo will be utility, and Chang will be nowhere to be found until there is an injury.
I still would rather Story play second. He's elite there. At short he's not that much better in the field than what we already have. Defensively, that is.
That's probably true but unfortunate, as I think Chang is a better player than Hernandez is now. Of course Hernandez is streaky and could get on a better streak. Nice play there by him.
Yes, Kiké has made a few very good plays this series, Dave. How about mentioning the two awful ones as well?
Where is Kike better? Short or second? Because if it's positioning between those two and Story is great at both (which assumes he still is at pre injury levels at short) then that should be more of a determining factor.
I think Chang is interesting, and could be have a future, but he's not as good as Kike
From what I've seen(this is just my eyes and not looking at any analytics), I think Kike is better at second than he is at short.
Tonight is the night Devers gets it going. The bottom of the order can't do it all on their own.
Had to listen to Costas and Darling last night but I'd rate them a lot better than Vas and Verducc.
Everyone loves the Mets crew of Cohen, Darling, and Hernandez but they bug the hell out of me sometimes. Maybe it’s because I watch a lot of Mets games but they seem really full of themselves in a way. Like a player screws up and they WOULD NEVER.
