That a terrific question that some PAID member of the media should, you know, earn their salary by answering.

Locker room access is wasted on gossips and jock-sniffers. Actual football questions - like, what do the shadow roster guys do - either don't get answered or don't have enough click-potential to be approved.

Which is too bad, because I'd like to know what The Highlander's life is like as a fringe practice squad/shadow roster guy.

Its a good question, doubt BB will comment on guys not on the roster though.

Why do you need BB to write about what The Highlander did this week? He was cut and resigned twice. "Hey Highlander...where did you work out on Tuesday? Is it weird to be on and off the PS? How are you dealing with it?" Maybe he gives you a rehearsed answer. Maybe he says "I got a call from my agent saying go to the facility then another saying go workout at Gold's Gym."

And while SN is probably right that Otto could shed some light on it, I have no idea why the guys with JOBS THAT REQUIRE THEY TALK TO PLAYERS don't ask The Highlander what he's been up to this week. He's the goddamned HIGHLANDER. There is only one

Heard Curran reference this on D&H (WEEI) today, specifically about how it is all based on the professional techniques developed by Alex Guerrero.

“(Guerrero is) like Mr. Miyagi,” Edelman said after the regular season concluded.
“How much has he helped me? More than anyone could ever realize,” Brady said. “He’s been someone I’ve been very lucky to work with for a long time. And he’s my best friend. He’s phenomenal at what he does, probably the best in the world. I’m pretty lucky.”

Eh, I was due for a good "media is lazy" rant anyway. ;-)

If the NFL and NFLPA reach an agreement this week, and players like Welker and Scandrick are able to play on Sunday, is Brian Tyms is going to be suddenly be an immediate roster decision the Patriots have to make as well? His suspension was after the start of the league year I believe.
