We need Neely to carry that water, looks like Cassidy doesn’t have it in him.Sigh. Cassidy is a really good coach but he’s gotta learn how to play the game with the refs. This is three year in a row.
Hot under the collar for him. He doesn't have it in him to just go on a tirade. He got a little more hot under the collar

Chara deflected the zoom link past Bergeron. It’s now 8-137 and 33 are delayed in getting to the zoom.
would it shock you to hear they couldn't even be bothered to do the moment of remembrance bullshit before the west game?Yeah given the historically tight connection between the B's players and various local police departments, I wasn't exactly holding my breath.
Chara going to a BLM protest and Bergeron saying the right things post-George Floyd were nice, but right now 'nice' doesn't feel like enough, not for just the B's but for the whole NHL.
Good stuff from Matt Dumba tonightwould it shock you to hear they couldn't even be bothered to do the moment of remembrance bullshit before the west game?
Or, as Bruce Arthur put it "There should have been a moment of remembrance for the empty gesture at the previous moment of remembrance"
The refs set the tone from the first shift of the game that the Bruins weren’t going to be allowed to play they way they need to play to win. I do expect an adjustment there. I’m sure the phone lines are burning from Neely and Sweeney’s rooms to the league offices this morning. What concerns me is how bad Chara looked on those penalty kills. Hopefully that’s just a symptom of this ridiculous schedule with the back to backs and not how he’s going to be going forward. In the cold light of morning I'm still incredibly pissed that a fucking linesman directly contributed to Tampa's second goal by interfering with Lauzon. That's beyond the pale and I expect the NHL to pull that guy from the playoffs permanently. That simply can't happen.
Fucking ridiculous.
What I am also hoping is that the supervisor of officials assigned to this series is going to review the game alongside the on-ice officials and notice the same things we are. That's the way we will get a change in officiating tomorrow night. Cassidy kindly pointing it out in the media helps too.The refs set the tone from the first shift of the game that the Bruins weren’t going to be allowed to play they way they need to play to win. We would’ve assumed that would’ve happened during the finals last year, or the Tampa series the year before that. It’s a pattern that really needs to be a addressed higher on the league food chain. What I am also hoping is that the supervisor of officials assigned to this series is going to review the game alongside the on-ice officials and notice the same things we are. It probably did happen when Berube and Cooper both lit up the media in a postgame. That's why Cassidy needs to do that.We would’ve assumed that would’ve happened during the finals last year, or the Tampa series the year before that. My impression is that TB is the more physical of the 2 teams. In last season's SCF, the Bruins were rolling until the refs and the league decided to 'let 'em play' more, which allowed STL to take the Bruins out of their game. The only data that I think is relevant is that TB is relatively heavy team, whereas the Bruins are below average. Of course weight isn't the end-all for physicality, but trying to add some substance. Height doesn't have much of a difference across teams for the most part (TB and BOS are separated by 0.2-0.3 inches on average and average age is within approx. 1 year). The refs set the tone from the first shift of the game that the Bruins weren’t going to be allowed to play they way they need to play to win. It most definitely did do that. Last year I thought that losing Wes McCauley from the playoff refs due to injury really hurt the B's in the Final as he's got a good rep and the other refs seemed to be intimidated by Berube's remarks. Last night proved me wrong about that, Wes was as anti-Bruins as the rest of them.It probably did happen when Berube and Cooper both lit up the media in a postgame. Both those weasels have done it effectively. Neely and Sweeney need to be burning up the league offices lines. Cassidy made an attempt at it last night but it is not in his DNA.It probably did happen when Berube and Cooper both lit up the media in a postgame. That's why Cassidy needs to do that.
