4 scoreless for Large Phallus Nicholas.
This brings up an interesting, if somewhat meaningless, question: Who is the Red Sox Pitcher of the Year? By performance, I guess the case would be made for Martin. But, in terms of everything he's done for the team, it might just be Pivetta

Oh I vote Most Valuable Pitcher, Nicky P. He's done everything asked of him. Solid as a rock.

Yeah, I made a wrong assumption, namely that @YTF was contemplating Rafaela playing 2B next year instead of CF. By then, Urias should be well.
You assumed correctly, at least partially. We saw what a disaster the SS position was before Story came back, I'd love for Rafaella to build his resume and if needed be ready to competently step in at 2nd if/when needed. I think the OF might be in a bit of flux depending on the status of Duvall and Verdugo, IF the team brings in an established OF that can man CF at least part of the time Rafaella could very well assume the Kike' role which may serve the team well for a year or so until Mayer shows that he's ready to push Story over to 2nd.

Another vote for Pivetta here. Martin doesn't pitch enough innings for my taste.

Another one of these games where the defense and pitching are stellar, but the bats are cold. (Granted it's poor conditions.)
If we can just get both sides in sync a little more frequently next year, the season will be a lot more competative and exciting.
(Course, it would also help if we could change divisions or abandon them altogether.)

It's a shame that Pivetta probably won't get the win today unless someone besides Masa can hit. Will Nick go one more?
(For some reason I can't find his pitch count yet, but the issue is moot.)

28th in OPS for the month of September. They could have really made things interesting in the wild card race if the offense didn’t completely crater.
