Rodriguez is the number 3 prospect in the Orioles' system according to mlb.com and has slid out of the site's top 100 as of the mid season rankings. He started the season at 68.

Rodriguez has been in AA the last 2 seasons. I suspect he'll head to AA Portland now, with Owens moving up to AAA Pawtucket.
With all this stockpiling of high-minors pitching you have to think something big is gonna happen between now and next April.

He would have been untouchable before he stalled (though still young) at a higher minor league level. Despite this disappointment, he was still recently rated as their #3 prospect according to the opinion at the link above. This just proves more that prospects are hugely overvalued in the market.
For old time's sake I hope they asked Duquette to throw in a Catching prospect to sweeten the deal.
This deal sounds reasonable to me. There's a much better chance of re-signing Miller (If they want him back) than Lester.

Getting a chance to see some of the other links posted makes me feel pretty good about this. The seem to be intent on producing a couple of solid innings eaters from the farm to build around.
