Here is my issue. A lot of places I go (hotels, Whole Foods, Home depot) offer free WiFi. But they force you to log in to get access. What this means is that my phone will automatically switch but then stop getting any data until I sign in. It's not a super huge deal I suppose but it's pretty annoying with maps or spotify or whatever to be walking along and then having to go in and switch off wifi because you aren't getting data and don't feel like logging in for the 3 minutes you'll be in range.
Obviously I could just leave WiFi off but then I chew up data when I forget to turn it back on when I'm at home, etc.
Is there anything that does a better job of managing WiFi than the onboard software? Is there anything to help with this? I swear my Galaxy S3 had an option where I would get notified before it switched, but that doesn't seem to be on the LG G3 that I have now.
