Well we need a game thread.

Time to turn this around.

Bello, the Sox only viable starter, faces off against France.

Bomb France!!

Don't scare me like that. 9/29 is my late father's birthday.

Go Sox I guess

Dry and Perfect temps, but tickets are cheap.

Fans have given up.

don’t even want to watch an opposing future hall of famer (altuve) , another with some shot (Alvarez) and a very good player in Bregman.

You're being obtuse again!!
One thing I love about that word is that it somehow means "annoyingly insensitive" or "slow to understand," one of which a person would seem to have control over and the other which they might not.

Anyways, I'm going to try to be both

EDIT: also, I have acquired a tagline the meaning of which I cannot plumb... "Head Mason?" am I just being obtuse again....

But Yoshida isn’t hot, is he? Why isn’t he being sat?
I think it would be more fun if they played him at SS & let Story play 2B for a game. Don't have a lot of interest in a The Blizzard redux.

Game 133
We saw Chris Sale fail. His armor is chinking.
His contract is one we sure regret inking.
The ‘stros, like Doc Graham, went to the plate winking,
eating up Bear Claw, till they sent him slinking,
back to the bench (and to a life of drinking.)
Cora just sat there, unmoved and unblinking,
while Fenway fans wondered what he was thinking.
All year, we’ve zig-zagged like patterns from pinking
shears, but it’s clear that our ship’s sort of sinking.
It’s not yet September. If we stop dinking
around, we could still see Red Sox fans linking
arms as they sing Dirty Water while clinking
champagne bottles. Our slim chances are shrinking.
Time for the Sox to clean up and stop stinking.

"shears, but it's clear that our ship's sort of sinking" is great stuff. Thanks.

I’m an optimist. This season is a tapestry. Of rich and royal hue.
