Mac for making the plays he had to make

There are things to not like about some of Mac's throws. But that's for a different thread.

Of course Mac sucks and also

1. OL was special
2. DL and suuplemental pass rush for pressure on Allen most of the day
3. Coaching (especially BoB)

Hm: Mac for standing tall and good decisions and throws

BOB and all of the pre-snap motion. The offense looked very different today. Mac had a few bad throws but I’m impressed by him hanging in there until the very end today. He stayed in the pocket and moved up a lot more than he has in previous games. He also showed some mental toughness today and didn’t let his temper flare up. I’m very happy for him.

Demario Douglas is great.

Mac and the o-line.
They had a good chance at fucking up this game, but hung in there and that last drive was nails.

This and have to add the coaching staff.

Putting Mac under center more, using motion and play action was huge in every way.

And once again, Bill can dial up a defensive gameplan as well as anyone. The blitzes were so perfectly timed, so whoever is actually calling those plays now (Steve, Mayo) did a great job today too.

If the Pats simply tackled a little better, this game may not have been close.

I would add Strange to the list as well. Nice to have him back and playing well.
And he got the worst player on the field out of the lineup. And of course the second Lowe came into the game he got a massive penalty that nearly ended up costing them the game.

I can’t believe the Bills are 4-3. They’ve been pretty awful in a lot of games this year.

I can’t wait to see the circular firing squad of Bills Mafia this week.

and the defense, which did a great job until late in the fourth when it was clear they were a bit gassed

Also, props for a very sound gameplan that seemed to be well executed. The Bills should never look forward to playing New England as long as BB is there.

I thought Jack Jones had a very nice return. Not quite gameball worthy, but definitely gets a mention. Had two good QB pressures (fuck that roughing call) and that solo tackles was a beautiful break on the ball. He changes the feel in the secondary in a big way

Below average coach, who has been saved by a great QB and an above-average roster...

Agree. His tackling is still a bit of a work in progress but the guy plays with aggression and an attitude this team needs.

There's a strong and direct connection between the two as this was the only game all year Mac's had that. Could be interesting the rest of the year.

C'mon 2-5 Patriot's nation, back on the bandwagon!
