I know we have threads for #3, and then another for the other two #1s, but I wanted to go into something that sort of spans the two rounds, and decided to open a general thread, so that we can look at overall prospects, and guys that might be willing to accept a Josh Huestis deal and agree to play in the D for a year or two while Boston works out its roster situation.
Anyway, this is the list of Cs or PF/Cs likely to be drafted this year, and if nothing changes between now and draft night I can see Boston picking two or three of these guys.
Jakob Poeltl
Skal Labissiere
Deyonta Davis
Domantas Sabonis
Damian Jones
Ante Zizic
Ivica Zubac
Cheick Diallo
Stephen Zimmerman Jr.
Chinanu Onuaku
Thon Maker
A.J. Hammons
Diamond Stone
Zhou Qi
Georgios Papagiannis
Prince Ibeh
I'm a big fan of Onuaku as a second round flier, as I think he has a solid future as a defensive roleplayer at the NBA level. I'm the first to admit that I don't watch enough of the Euros to have an informed opinion of them, but with eight picks I'm guessing that Zizic or Zubac are on Boston's shopping list at 23. If Thon Maker lasts until the second he's another that I'd be interested in.
I would still like Kay Felder as a second rounder, especially if he would agree to play overseas for a year or two.
