Oh, I'm not joking.Deathofthebambino said:You joke, but ECU's QB, Shane Carden, may very well be one of the better QB's coming out of this year's draft class. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends up with a better NFL career than Mariota or Winston.

Except fucking Duke. It's like we thought the season ended once it turned to NovemberGreg29fan said:
Everybody looked like Tom Brady against North Carolina's defense.
Same result. The buzz about OSU sneaking in at the end started so early that it was obvious someone was dying to see it happen.tims4wins said:If OSU had beaten Wisconsin say 35-14 instead of 59-0 I wonder what the committee would have done

Yeah, they're getting the ball after the half too.staz said:Down 8 at the half would not be a bad deal for OSU
But why was OSU ranked behind them before the Wisconsin game?DannyHeep said:
Same thing. OSU as a Big Ten team coupled with the Baylor/TCU conundrum made an OSU win an automatic bid to the playoff.
No doubt. Bama relies on their D-line depth.Drocca said:Alabama is not going to be able to sub out their defense against Oregon (obviously) which I think could be a HUGE factor. Tonight, urban Meyer is letting Saban set up every play exactly as he wants.
Because rankings can't decipher dollar signs. OSU is more valuable than TCU, that's it.tims4wins said:But why was OSU ranked behind them before the Wisconsin game?
Yup but that pass should have been picked. It was a duck.Darnell's Son said:Clear as day

You're going to get your three year old killed by the covering corner.Drocca said:That is how I throw the ball to my three year old so it doesn't scare him. It still does, but helps I think.
Yeah, it's really weird. I keep expecting him to trip over his feet running to his left.Deathofthebambino said:Why do they keep rolling the kid out to his left? Urban is forcing him to throw the ball across his body. It's weird, even when it's short side of the field.

Saban was an outspoken proponent of requiring offenses to wait a certain amount of time between plays. My favorite argument was a fast pace was a safety issue.maufman said:No doubt. Bama relies on their D-line depth.
next time, try it without the 200 lb guy running him over before the ball gets to him. I'm no child psychologist but I think that would helpDrocca said:That is how I throw the ball to my three year old so it doesn't scare him. It still does, but helps I think.

I'm not so conspiratorial -- I think the committee gave some weight to tOSU's 11-0 campaign last season. Which is wrong, but they wouldn't have led the TCU folks on so blatantly if they knew they were going to go with the bigger TV draw if they both finished with one loss.canderson said:Because rankings can't decipher dollar signs. The safety thing is bullshit, but I'm not a fan of the collegiate hurry-up.Fred in Lynn said:Saban was an outspoken proponent of requiring offenses to wait a certain amount of time between plays. My favorite argument was a fast pace was a safety issue.
