Sucked last night?

Doesn't matter, crush them.

Second night of a back to back with travel?

Doesn't matter, crush them.

1st line center and defenseman both injured and out?

Doesn't matter, crush them.

Icing a team that's 50% rookies?

Doesn't matter, crush them.

Khoklachev's recall was on an emergency basis, so it is an injury-related move most likely.

Here
In the crazy world where Toronto dominates Boston, Rask should be able to put up a 40-save shutout in West France, right?

With Soderberg, I'd probably go:

63-37-18
17-76-53
23-34-21
20-11-12

Although I still like the idea of Lucic with the Swedes and then Koko between Kelly and Griffith.

Without Soderberg, I think this would be my lineup:

63-37-18
17-76-21
25-23-53
20-11-12

Julien is playing things close to the vest. Says Khokhlachev is not related to Krejci and that there is another player who is a GTD. Divver speculated Soderberg, but we'll see.

Svedberg in net. Not a fan despite Tuukka's track record in the Bell Centre.

Early warmup indications are that Koko will be in the press box.

Between here and everywhere.
Montreal certainly does bring out the smoke shows to sing the American national anthem. No idea why they don't show the same respect to the Canadien national anthem.

Good kill. I've like the start other than Marchand's dumb penalty. They've spent more time in the Montreal end than their own.

That shot there needs to go in the "good" pile for Dougie. It ended up being an easy save for price, but the important thing is that it was a wide shot with a rebound that put it in front of the net quickly. Indirect passing lanes are hard to defend and if Dougie can get that one down that's a really good asset to have
