I'm generally confused.  And still agree, as well.

Just win.

And hurt them while you're at it.

It means it's time for the Bruins to get angry and aggressive. To swarm, maim and kill. They must find their lunacy. They must play out of their minds. They must stop thinking. They must do. They need an attitude adjustment, and some heavy metal is exactly what they need. Get pumped. Get amped. Fight. Slash. Kick. Kill. Never surrender. Rage! Rage! Rage! That is what they must do. No mercy. No surrender.

Between here and everywhere.
The Bruins have a serious PK (Subban) problem.

I think it can be said that without his play, the Bruins could be up in this series 2-1 or 3-0.

It was discussed briefly in the other thread, but the Bruins need to find a way to mitigate his performance. I'm not sure if the answer is in x's and o's, or if it's in the ability to physical intimidate him with Lucic/Chara/etc. But right now he's the best player on the ice and he knows it.

Shut down PK - and you can shut down the Habs.

It's a good point. When Boston is defensing their own zone the winger on his side HAS to cheat up and keep an eye on him. As soon as PK gets the puck that winger needs to close him down and limit his options, he's got way too much space and time to operate. That must stop.

How did he affect the last game from the OZ? He made a nice read to Vanek on the first goal, but you're not going to shadow him.

Who in Boston doesn't love Stan Jonathan?  Answer: New Englanders who were dropped on their heads as kids and became Canadiens fans as a result.

But, um, I'd take more comfort in Stan being a good omen if his Bs had, you know, beaten the Canadiens a little more....

Hoo-hoo-hoo hoosier land.
Today is my birthday. I merely ask for a resounding victory over the Montreal soccer team in which their souls are crushed to the extent that even the children of their children will be stained with the humiliation of this defeat.

Edit: Also, if possible, I would like to hear the lamentation of their women.

Depending on your cable provider you can get an NBC sports app that will allow you to watch on your phone.

They block out the local broadcast.  If its showing on NBCSN in your local market, you can't watch it on the app.  All of the "watch shit on your ipad" is remote market only.

That's not true. If it's showing on a local provider (NESN, CSN, etc) in your local market, then it's blacked out. If it's on NBCSN nationally, you can watch it on the app no problem as long a you login to your cable provider.

Anybody have a reason why Fraser is up?  Adding some scoring in?

He's got a really quick release on his shots and the Canadiens have blocked a shit-ton of shots this series, so I'm thinking that's part of the strategy. Yesterday Felger was railing on something I've been in 100% agreement with in this series: While the Bruins have been pummeling Montreal with pucks, they're taking wayyy too long to launch them. From receiving the disc, to collecting it, to repositioning their bodies toward the net, to taking the shot. The defense has forever to react and respond. Boychuk is the only true touch-and-fire one-timer they've had.

Thanks dog.  I don't know much about Fraser other than his goal totals.  Sounds like they should put him in for Caron instead.

He had three goals in five games in PB's series vs Springfield.

Spitballing here, but Eriksson-Soderberg-Fraser might be the line we see, along with Paille-Campbell-Thornton.

Sucks to be Florek, huh? From a Stanley Cup Playoffs Game 4 in Montreal to hopping a bus in North Smithfield for a 5-hour ride to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

I've had multiple games (B's and not) that I couldn't watch from the app because of a local blackout.  I'm on FIOS, and I was on my local network each time and I was trying to watch from a non-tv room while something else went on.  Maybe its just me.

Not sure this was discussed but the Habs had 6 guys on the ice on the Subban goal. Goal should never have counted.

Changes for round 2 as there is no regional coverage.

Paille-Campbell-Iginla, even given that Iggy has been pretty meh the whole series, would be a horrible misuse of resources.  Neither of those guys are any good at setting a shooter like him up.

It's not so much the line shakeups for me but finishing the tons of chances they're already creating and lessening the mistakes in their own zone.

Is 21 coming from the bench or skating forward from behind the play? If it's the latter, Montreal probably had 5 men on the PK for at least a good five seconds. At first I thought he just jumped off the bench early, but it looks like two Canadiens are about to jump on the ice to replace the two coming off. One is technically a penalty that had no real impact on the play, the other is a big deal. Neither matters at this point, unfortunately.

This is the first game of the series I'll actually get to watch.

So... Fucking win.
