Chicks – and apparently Silver Slugger voters – dig the long ball. Jose Ramirez had a down year himself but was still better than Devers, who should probably send a thank you note to Josh Naylor. Once Naylor spent all of August on the IL with an oblique strain, Ramirez became the only bat to fear in the Cleveland lineup and started swinging at a lot of bad pitches which resulted in a month-long slump with a .636 OPS.
