Pretty neutral observation all three northwest teams lucked out big timeOkay SFIC.
London-Baku is a little closer than Boston-Phoenix.Damn, Chelsea... not only do they get Atleti and Roma, they have to fly to Azerbaijan
Spurs aren't as good as Real, but neither is Dortmund. Everyone should beat up on APOEL, so it really comes down to a home-and-home between Dortmund and Spurs for the second spot. It's a more difficult draw than the other English teams, but Spurs definitely have an opportunity to advance.England will be expected to put 4 teams (all but Spurs) into the R16. I wonder who will fail their expectations.
Here's a tally of Roma's activity this window. Monchi seems to be bringing his signature approach from Sevilla - selling high (except for Paredes, IMO) and bringing in great bargains to build out the squad. Roma is a more ambitious club than Sevilla. We'll see how this pans out.I'd say Roma are TBD or slightly weaker. They lost Salah and Rudiger- two key pieces, but did bring in replacements.
It really is remarkable. You keep saying that...yet it keeps happening.
They have a fairly hard run of fixtures stacked around their CL ties:That's a phenomenal draw for LFC. No excuses if they don't advance.
Here's hoping for 1-2 reinforcements to the squad before the window closes.Spartak Moscow (A):
With Leicester away in the League Cup before Leicester away in the league, this means four away games in a row.
