Cuban RHP Vladimir Gutierrez declared a free agent.

Ben Badler of Baseball America describes him as a 19 year old left handed pitcher who throws 88-93, has projection and a plus curve ball. He will be subject to international bonus pool restrictions, so it is highly unlikely the Red Sox will be in on him.
