Thought it was the latter. He had a lot of open space.
I think so too.

I also think he’s supposed to hand off that ball. It all worked out, but if that 3rd down pass goes incomplete, the 3-4 yard gain he passed up on 2nd down is the difference between still having a FG attempt and being forced to punt.

So, Tucker crosses himself before the kick and it was good, but I have seen other kickers do that and miss.

It’s very confusing.

I’m sure GFI is the analytics play, but with Tucker kicking, I agree with this decision.
I think when you're the favorite, "break the seal on the game", and take the FG. I always feel that's KC's big advantage. They take points that the teams playing them pass up on because of the fear of their offensive prowess. But all those FGs add up.

I’ve always wanted the kicker to blame God when he misses.

“I tried my best to kick it straight and true, but it was the will of the Lord that I shank it short and to the left. Blessed be.”

These slow-developing running plays are not working.

I’m surprised by that call. I thought the presence of an eligible receiver within a couple feet of the trajectory of the ball was enough, even though he was blocking and had zero chance of making a play on the ball.

Yeah, same. We have seen balls to the feet of backs who had no idea it was coming.

The Ravens have a ton of juice right now they're flying around. The Texans will have to keep the game manageable until that subsides a bit or try to catch them overeager on defense.
